Key Activities

Commercial Launch: SaxaVord Spaceport (Shetland) โ€” Europe's first fully licensed vertical launch site. Additional sites in Cornwall and Sutherland.

OneWeb: UK government co-invested in OneWeb's 648-satellite LEO constellation (now part of Eutelsat Group), making the UK the third-largest satellite operator.

ESA Membership: Major contributor to telecommunications, EO, science and exploration programmes.

Regulation: Works with Ofcom and CAA under the Space Industry Act 2018.
